Hi,
At one time long, long ago, there was a thread from someone
who wanted to use gerbil habitrails for their fish and
connect tanks.

I think our pet rats would prefer that one
I've dreamed about building an indoor pond that would lead all aound the house with deep guttering so the fish could swim from room to room and then back to the big pond again

Wow, thanks for the link. I've been working on a kinetic sculpture involving fish and I was having quite a bit of trouble...this actually helps a lot!

Well there's supposed to be some sort of current running through them, so I would imagine any dead fish, poop, or eggs would be washed out of there.

But what happens if the tube suddenly gets an outbreak of algae?

Im thinking rather cruely here, but it would be pretty cool if you had something like a bunch of scissor tail rasboras and an arowana in a whole bumch of them making a maze...
