	Spooky Spiders...

I like taking pictures of spiders because it's fun to see how close I can get to them without making them move, therefore causing me to run away screaming. ...Except for the tarantula and scorpion. Those ones aren't scary. Feel free to share your pictures of spiders (or other arthropods if you wish) here if you want. I've had this done to me a few times before. If you don't touch it and just wash it off (without rubbing it), then the irritation is minimal. It is real, and it's alive. It's an emperor scorpion, which is a pretty docile species. With the tail stretched out, that one was about 8" long. And great photo, Jessnick! That whole 'revulsion-compulsion' thing, I expect....or was it to hear that in a typical suburban neighbourhood, there are an average of 20,000 spiders in a block?(if you assume 40 houses on each block, that is about 500 per property)
