	Sun burn - silly whetu :(
whetu Mega Fish Posts: 900 Votes: 63 Registered: 31-Jan-2003	I spent all yesterday at an outdoor festival. Despite SPF30 sun screen, a hat and attempting to stay in the shade, I have sun burn. I was working at the festival so had to be out in the sun but I really should have worn a long-sleeved shirt. The worst part is in the middle of my back where I couldn't reach to put sun screen on and I can't reach to apply aloe vera or other soothing stuff. Any suggestions? Is there something I can put in the bath to soak in?

Martin the Massage Guy gave me massages before I got sun burned - I should have asked him to re-apply my sun screen while he was there! Anyway my last day in Texas was August 20 and I came back to winter in NZ so I've been covered up in multiple layers of clothing since then. I'm usually pretty good at staying out of the sun but slipped up badly on Saturday. Today (Tuesday) most of the heat and redness has gone and I can actually lie on my back in bed without yelping! Nobody has answered my 'wanted' ad for a buddy to apply lotion, so I might just have to go back to staying out of the sun
