mmmmmm BJ's pizza is DELICIOUS!!!

Boston Pizza makes a super Perogi Pizza.
It comes with sour cream as the base, super hot spicy potatoes that keep you comin back for more, and cheese and more sour cream on top.
OH ITS SO GOOD!
Not for the "cant eat spicy" person though, its flamin!
Also, I prefer greek pizza, we have an "Authentic 2 for 1" pizza place and the husband/wife team that make them are from Greece. Much different, much better pizza.
Also, I must say, When I pick up my pizza, it better not go FLOP on me. I had pizza in the States, gross dudes, it goes woosh and everything flies off.
I like a good firm non floppy pizza!

Being from Chicago, you can't get a better deep dish pizza anywhere. Best deep dish is sausage, mushroom, green pepper & onion.

Best thin is sliced beef with hot peppers.

I make my own pizza most of the time. Common toppings are: a mixture of tomato and sweet chilli sauce, plenty of garlic and basil, mushrooms, ricotta cheese, spinach, fetta cheese, sliced tomato, and baked pumpkin or sweet potato. Topped with mozzarella and oregano, of course.

Best bought pizza is New York Slice (especially spinach and ricotta, or mediterranean vegetable) - usually found in places where people drink. Better than a kebab at 2am! Or somewhere like Tomato Brothers or Kookaburra Cafe.

Ok my favorite is from Papa John's...Thin crust, Light Sauce (the red sauce and I don't get along well anymore), with everything but the kitchen sink and anchovies on it (ham, sausage, canadian bacon, hamburger, extra cheese, mushrooms, onions, bellpeppers, yep I think that's it...)

Now if I'm feeling cheap, and want pizza, it's CiCi's Pizza, love the stuffed potatoe pizza, no red sauce, and all the stuff for a baked potatoe on it...and of course the barbeque is great...

ROFLMAO, as technically the real deal pizzas actually come from the middle eastern cultures long before it was ever introduced to Italy.

And, the more common pizza of today, has one main ingredient that came from the Americas. The tomato! Tomatos came from the Americas, and were later introduced into a sauce by the Italians. As for the traditional pizzas of today, with all the topings and such, this type of pizza is an American product. As the originals rarely had toppings, and were mostly just seasoned flat bread with cheese (made from the milk of the water buffalo), and some olive oils. So, in the end, the "real deal Italian pizzas", are just a flat bread cheese pizza with some bazil and olive oil as a sauce.

Tomatoes were introduced into Europe in the 16th century.
About 200 years before they started making pizza. The traditional Italian pizzas had tomato, white mozzarella cheese and basil. It was supposed to look like the Italian flag.

As for the traditional pizzas of today, with all the topings and such, this type of pizza is an American product.

I agree. That's one of the reasons it's been ruined.

I COULD LIVE ON PIZZA . Way back when I was in college there was a pizza place across the road. I swear I had breakfast, lunch and dinner there.

My topping are simple: pepperoni and cheese (thin crust). The weirdest toppings I've had:

Duck meat and cheese. Once I passed the mental barrier and tried it - it was quite good!!!

A lot of my family have owned pizzaria's/restaraunts in the past..
So I don't have to travel.

So you fly to itally each time you want a pizza

Sounds like way too long of a wait just for a pizza.....especially considering that pizza is american anyway .

Mushrooms and onions are my favorites followed by tomatoes and fresh garlic. I like pizzas with cheeses other than just mozzarella.

Years ago I went to London and corn was offered as a topping, at the time I thought that was unusual. Now nothing really surprises me. One of the best 'odd' pizzas I've had was Thai, which included peanut sauce

Speaking of which, we ordered a HUMONGOUS NY style pizza (three feet in diameter at least, hand on heart) for our halo 2 overnight LAN thingy. Quite an ordeal, as after finishing one slice, I was totalled.

My favorite pizza, though, would have to be salad pizza. All you Cali Pizza Kitchen frequenters should know what I'm talking about. Assorted greens with a red wine vinagrette topped with caramelized pears and pecans all on pizza dough. Other than that, spinach/mushrroms and reg. cheese appeal to me most.

I like pineapple + grilled chicken together.

its like hawaiian pizza except that I dont like ham. I like my version much better
