Old Text: | Very difficult. Try very soft and acidic peat-filtered water. Make sure there are many fine-leaved plants in the tank. Remove the parents after spawning as they will eat the eggs. The fry are very hard to keep as the are extremely small. Fry growth rate is very slow, sometimes fry will need infusoria sized foods for up to twelve weeks before being weaned onto larger foods. This combined with their delicate nature in respect to water conditons makes the Rummy Nose a major breeding challenge. Ster
