I just ordered a 3g Picotope, which has a 40 gph filter and the lighting system includes a remote ballast and a 9W actinic blue/daylight bulb. I can add a heater if necessary...I'm looking for stocking suggestions other than a betta if possible.

Thanks

Is the tank going to be planted? There's tons of small animals you could choose from - Least Killies, Microrasboras, Endler's, wild Bettas, Shrimp, Triops (those guys are really cool), Dwarf Crayfish, etc...

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

If you would like to try non-fish, you could go with a couple of dwarf frogs.

If available I would try the freshwater shrimp, such as those available on arizona aquatic garden website. Another option is a few endlers livebearers. One last suggestion would be a betta with a dwarf frog.

I think that a well planted tank with some shrimp would look great ^_^
