Should also look good with mollys (not black) platies, swordtails, groumies. |

If you go a light colour then the mollies won't stand out as much being of similar colour. Also if you go a colour for the gravel (green, blue, red) then it will not look natural. But if that is the look you are after then go for it. It is really what you want out of it. I prefer to stay natural or black. That usually works well with all fish unless they are black but not in this case. HTH. |

I used to have a light-colored gravel in there, but it was competing with the fish. It looks much sharper since I swapped it out. |
