Email and deadline was posted in the thread, there will likely be a different address for the December contest, yes the deadline is long past but there will be another one that you can enter in a few months .

The contest is over now, I'm pretty sure the winners will be posted soon. Sorry, but it looks like you'll have to wait until December to enter again.

hey babel, been away and was thinking of jumping into your contest really just an excuse to show some updated pics. anyway i dont see where to send the pics, email or what have you. do you not do it by email and just stick them in a reply?

~Deadline for Entries is January 31, 2005

~You may enter up to two tanks per category. They must be your tanks.

~You may enter a winning tank, with up to date photo in the next contest only if there have been major changes. Contact the mediator if in doubt.

~Categories are as follows (further explanation later) 1). Fresh Water/Brackish Planted 2). Fresh Water Non Planted 3). Theme Tanks 4). Salt Water.

~Entries will be submitted with the following naming conventions in the subject line. Please name the photo attachment the same as the subject line.

In the event of dual entries they shall be named

For Themed Tank entries you will be allowed to include the theme of your tank in your file name. Entries for Themed Tanks shall read as follows:

For Salt Water and Reef Tanks&#8230;as I&#8217;ve said before I apologize for having the two in one category, if there are enough entries in both FOWLR and Reef I will separate the two. In order to do this, name your tanks as follows:

Screenname_Reef[/font] as applies.




CATEGORY EXPLINATIONS


FreshWater Planted: For freshwater jungles, well planted, even lightly planted tanks. If the emphasis is on the design of the plants, even realistic fake plants enter your tank in this category.


FreshWater Non Planted: For tanks where the aquascaping emphasis is on wood or rock. Can include a few realistic fake or live plants.

Salt Water: Both Reef and FOWLR&#8230;.I understand why these should be two separate categories, if there are a minimum of 5 of each entry I will create separate categories for them.

Themed Tanks: Both SW and FW, if your tank has a special theme enter it here. Specially designed betta bowls, FO tanks, and non-realistic plants may also be entered here[/font]

i guess it'll go with non planted... since i have my lavarock as a centerpiece and a stone background..

btw, i used my camera to take a pic, no more small pictures from my camera phone

The best way to decide what catagory the tank falls under is to look @what the focal point is (or that you want your focal point to be). If it's plants then in the planted catagory. If it's wood or rock then non planted....if you have further questions feel free to contact me .

btw im not sure which catagory my tank falls under.. it has fake plants, but not alot so its not erally a jungle.. and i only have one lava rock...

i think the dead line is september... since this is a quarterly contest.. and she said the next quarter would be december... so... yea.
