Hello people haven't round here in AGES! all looking very good.

I am re doing my 35G tank, with gravel instead of sand.

I have ordered a 10kg bag of gravel. is that going to be enough? I want to put plants in properly this time. I ordered this,

kinda on a whim... any opinions?

cheers

Here's a link that may prove to be helpful to you. You just plug in your tank dimensions, the depth you want the gravel and it will give you an estimate of how much you will need.

For a good healthy planted tank I woud suggest a natural coloured substrate 1-3mm and at least 3ins deep. As far as weight required I would have no idea at all.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info
