I've decided on the stock, equipment (minus the filter), and the theme- planted. Now, how to aquascape it? I have a cave/branch shelter from Wally World that I plan to have as the centerpiece. I want the rest of the space (except the swimming space) to be taken up by live plants from the South Amazon. So, since I know nothing except about basic care of live plants, its up to YOU to decide what plants, , and where... and of course, the substrate. Thank you. Since it's a 10 it should be fairly easy (if you're willing to upgrade the lighting) to get high light plants in the tank. Also don't forget Ph, temp ect, and if you're thinking of going with a plant substrate or something cheaper ![]() Remember that 10 gallons will always be a rather small ammount of space, adding plants that would grow too large will make it seem much smaller, so stick with plants that will look okay small and it will make the tank look bigger :%)....I think I need more tea ![]() Aquascaping Contest Planning July 3rd]http://www.fishprofiles.com/interactive/calendar/events.asp?d=2004%2D07%2D03[/link] and [link=July 4th all are Welcome ![]() ^_^ ![]() |

And don't worry anybody, I'll find the best light there is for a 10g planted. I think I'll use some of that planting substrate. It accents the dull grays of the Ram nicely. ![]() [span class="edited"][Edited by TheGoldenDojo 2004-07-01 13:00][/span] |
