I like this one, it's a rather nice example of using pots in a tank...would look really good with a few more plants though .

I liked them all though .

Posting another one because I don't want my vote to be deleted... sometimes they are....

john.stone's Non Planted Tank: Bright and playful colors...Good use of the red plant as a focal point...the wood has a very distinctive shape...I might try the red ones slightly closer to the wood though rather than as close to center as they are.

Strange1's Planted Tank: I really like the planted and open combo, it's clean and simple...about the only thing I'd do is hide the tube in the right hand corner .

Theresa_M's Non Planted Tank: I don't normally like castles and such in tanks, the size ratio is something I've never been able to convince myself of, but this one works for me for some reason The plants and rock pieces work with each other so that neither is the central focus and just lets the eye wander.

littlepebble's Planted Tank: Nice use of the different greens..hopefully when the plants grow up a bit more they'll hide all the equiptment .

heydudeitsmitch's Non Planted Tank: Dark but effective I like the conservitive use of the plant, it really lets the rocks take the cetral role.

jasonpisani's Planted Tank: This was my fav...I really like how the pots are used...it lets the tank be sand but with plants.. actually something I'm trying in my tank but with clear plastic containers....doesn't look nearly as good as this one.

^_^

I liked John's tank for the following resons.
Neat clean & tidy, well balanced, good variation of materials, and the drift wood has an interesting shape.

Improvements could be made by moving the "red leaved plant" more to the right and behind the driftwood. Then fill the gap with the same plant now on its left. I would leave the wide leafed plant there but may be closer to the wood and place it behind them. This would hide the corner and give it that wow factor.

Further more an excelent photo and a well presented Aquscape.

I really like what they've done with no plants. The rock formations are really nice, and the plants almost look real.

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

Hi Everyone,

Due to the really low number of entries, I've decided that the best thing to do for May's contest is to hold a People's Choice Vote including the 6 main tanks (3 Non Planted and 3 Planted).

I want to personally thank the members that did enter their tanks into the contest, I really appreciate it.

Vote for your favourite aquascaped tank:

john.stone's Non Planted Tank:

Strange1's Planted Tank:

Theresa_M's Non Planted Tank:

littlepebble's Planted Tank:

heydudeitsmitch's Non Planted Tank:

jasonpisani's Planted Tank:

Thanks Again Guys!

Since the first time I saw this tank, I thought Wow that is sure a nice looking tank. Clear, clean, and very nicely arranged. Very nice littlepebble!!

I would say the close second is John Stones tank. I like the colors and the arrangements, it really highlights both the tiger barbs and the rtbs.
