Another Unexpected Birth | |
mikdavy2 Enthusiast Posts: 167 Kudos: 224 Votes: 35 Registered: 09-May-2003 | Recently i have been having a lot of my cories giving laying eggs. In the past month i have had three different mother cories lay eggs, and one laid more than once. I am not sure why the sudden urge to breed, but i dont mind it. Just today one of my Corydoras aeneus, or green cory laid about 35 eggs, which are currently in a breeder cage. I added anti fungus stuff. http://www.thousandfootkrutch.com http://www.hawknelson.com |

I am kind of glad they havent because if they did I would have WAY to many to deal with because of there being 6 of them. Maybe after the peppered's find homes, well the ones I can't keep. |

One of the 3 times my agassiz's breed and laid 130 eggs, but I didn't know how to do anything so I have 7 left. The last two times my green cories laid eggs. So yeah its pretty sweet. http://www.thousandfootkrutch.com http://www.hawknelson.com |

They, as with aeneus, are amongst the easiest callichthyids to breed. Fatten them up, cool water change--BAM instant eggs. |
