Chances are that if the loach finds out that shrimp are yummy, your shrimp will not be safe with the loach at all. Especially as the loach grows larger and bolder and willing to put more and larger things into its mouth. I'd say your shrimp is probably doomed. Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean... |

If not it might be OK for a short time but as soon as the CL starts getting bigger by by shrimp. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. He's a great fish, but the tank is too small (20 gallon long) for him and he is all alone ... So I think I will bring him back to the fish store and save the cherry shrimps from being an appetiser. They will be fine with the pencil fish and the white clouds, right? |

Unfortunately, they really aren't for the average aquarium hobbyish unless you can commit to the kind of large tanks capable of housing a school of them. Your shrimp should be fine with the whiteclouds and pencilfish. Provide the shrimp with decorations to hide in and/or some java moss, and it should do fine.
