I just noticed that my Common pleco(12-14cm)is fighting alot with my Hoplo catfish(10-13cm).
I think that is something wrong with my hoplo since he doesn't swim that much lately...he is just lying there and hardly moves..that's except when the pleco start to fight.
The best way i think is to move the Hoplo and put him in the quarantine tank since i noticed his eyes are popped too
Those the pleco know when a fish is not healthy/weak and take the advantage

I know human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully.

When you say fighting what are they doing exactly? Do you think its a territorial dispute as far as the plec is concerned?
My hoplos did not move around heaps so I dont think that is of concern. But if it is suffering pop eye I would put it in quarentine until that gets sorted out.

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Well, sometimes it can be territorial dispute, but when the hoplo is at the other side of the tank, the pleco sometimes swims over there and start to fight...sometimes is over quickly but other times they can make the tank look like a batlefield.

I would remove the Hoplo & treat him well before putting him back in the tank.
