ClaireH Fingerling Posts: 32 Kudos: 23 Votes: 0 Registered: 18-Apr-2005 | Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on some different foods I can give to my cories and clown loaches? I have read on a few posts that people give them different foods such as peas, cucumber and so on but I was wondering if anyone could tell me a few foods and how to prepare them and any that I shouldnt feed? and if they need to be cooked or raw? I wont try them on fish and chips lol Thanks Claire |

I just defrosted them and removed the outer shell and they ate that, I didn't bother cooking it (not sure if I should have!). I've also heard that they'll enjoy lettuce (needs to be weighed down again). Other than that, your fish will appreciate a variety of food; flakes, tablets, frozen food etc etc. |

With the veggies like cucumber and zuccini, its best to put them in the microwave for about 10 secs or so. Then let them cool before you stick them in the tank. Remember to remove veggies after 24 hours...or atleast whats left. Here's a former thread about veggies and what people have tried: clicky |

Broccoli...fresh or frozen (defrosted first), attached to a rock. I've also tried lettuce, peas, carrot and even tomato but the others seem to be favorites here. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |
