I went to a new LFS last night and they had a tiny bottom feeder thing that was swimming around and around and around the outline of the tank at the bottom. They said it maxes out at 1 1/2" and it is a bottom feeder. It looked very prehistoric and like some sort of a catfish. I did not buy it but I also cannot find any info on it.

The tag for it said Indian Stone Fish.

Anyone heard of this?

Was it a catfish? Can you at least narrow it down to a specific order of fishes?

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

my guess would be a stone fish, or a bichir, or a wolf eel.

The only cats from India that would likely hold the "stone fish" name would probably be hara, fossilis, chaca, and pusillus.
