ok i just purchased a gold spotted pleco, i have no idea if it behaves like a regular pleco, the guys at the store said they don't grow bigger than 5 inches. I don't really trust them. i've been looking around the net to try and find a profile but i couldn't find any. i was wondering if anyone in here have kept the same kind of pleco or have any information about it?.
any advice would be awesome

perhaps a gold nugget pleco?

mines didn't really do the common pleco thing, of eatting algae, more of a "show" fish in aquaria.

hey thanks for the replies=)
i already looked at planet catfish and they don't have it=P.
and its not a gold nugget pleco, it looks like a regular pleco but it has golden spots,. i guess i'll never know unless it grows bigger than 5" which will be bad for my 45 gallon

L-001 grows to a much more substantial size than 8" (PlanetCatfish is underestimating the size this species attains)...

They are pretty much just like Common Plecos with prettier colors.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

Sorry to tell you that they grow EXTREMLY fast IMO. I have two and they both started as little ones in a 55g and ended up having to put it in a 125g in just a matter of a few months...
