I know that loaches eat snails but would they bother ones that are 3/4 to 1 inch big?
Thanks for any and all replies in advance.

Yes. Clowns have been known to dig holes in the shell door of the biggest applesnails and my yoyos ate several 3-4" applesnails. They'll also eat baby pest snails that are still tiny dots on the glass if there is nothing bigger. No snail is completely safe with yoyo loaches.

I would have to agree with Sham, between clowns and yoyos, clowns are the less aggressive species of loaches, and even if the yoyos are too small to eat the snails, they would be at them all day long and it would be a sad site.

Don't add any Loaches with Snails. If they don't eat them, they'll try to break the Shell & the Snail will be on a constant attack.

I agree. Loaches absolutly love snails and they are a natural part of thier diet. In fact most people buy loaches to get rid of pest snails.
