i was browsing through www.liveaquaria.com and i found this guy Royal Farlowella Cat. i have a 30gal with guppies,and 4 clown loaches, and 2 chinese algae eaters. i need to get rid of the chinese and the clowns because there getting to big. but the Royal wont outgrow my tank. anything is helpful. Thanks Justin

u said it, the tank u have now is way overstocked on the bottom layer. b4 u get anything get rid of the clowns, and algae eater. i am not so sure. the cat looks like a whip tail cat. not to sure about this cat, but the site say 8 inches, so i would only go with one cat.

I agree that you should get rid of the other bottom feeders in your tank before adding a farlowella, and you DEFINITELY want to make sure that the fish you buy is in fact the fish you want. Farlowellas are known to be a bit fragile and don't always ship well, so make sure that you use express overnight shipping and that when you receive it you spend a few hours very carefully acclimating your new fish. I've had really good luck with fish through the mail, but you do need to baby them at first.

Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean...

You must take away some of your fish before adding some new ones. 4 CL & 2 CAE is alot for a 30 gal. tank.
