would a king tiger plec make a reasonable algae eater for a small tank?
we have seen some in a local lfs and they are really nice but we need something that will eat algae and i dont know if they do or not.

Here is an article from Planetcatfish.com on breeding them. In the article the author mentions feeding them carnivor pellets and shrimp pellets. They probably would not be the best for algae.http://www.planetcatfish.com/shanesworld/s_r_248.php

Good ol' BNs are very good at cleaning up algae.

They are primarily carnivorous. I have never seen one even touch a spirulina tablet.

ok, looks like i cant have onefornow then, dont have room forhim and an algae eater so ill look into a couple of ottos.
