Ok, so I recently dug out my old 30 gal tank. 36" wide, 12" deep, and about 16" high. Just trying to get back into the wonderful world of aquariums and starting smaller for now. I was very interested in getting some Angelfish once I have the PH level and all that working properly. But I was wondering. Just how many can I put in this tank? I know they get big, and wouldn't be in there forever, even looking at breeding eventually. But for the time being, how many juvi angels would work in there?

tops six i would say, and i would also get a school or six corries and maybe six small tetras... then once the angels pair (probably only one pair will succumb) seel off the others or put them in a larger tank with a few more and hopefully another pair or two will form.

good luck, but dont do an angel only tank as it wont be a balanced ecosystem! get a bottom feeder(s) and some other middle to top feeders to keep the tank active...

Thanks! Yeah I didn't want only the Angels. Been doing a lot of reading about good ways to go about the whole deal actually. Think once I get it started and established, moving up to a 50-75 tall and keeping the 30 as an off-tank. Was thinking a dwarf pleco to stick in as a bottom feeder, maybe something else.
