i know bettas as well as Oscars are both agressive fish, i was wondering if they would do well in about a 75G tank so as to have enough room to accomodate the oscar, and then the betta would have more room than a crummy ish bowl.Ive done my research and know they are both aggressive and might scrap a bit.would this be ok.after they found out which was more dominant they could establish territories and such.

Once the betta fits in the oscars mouth it's over! That won't take long, since oscars have a huge growth spurt when they are young. I doubt if it will be weeks before he eats the betta, if the betta isn't fast enough or wise enough to stay hidden.

I think Oscar would say that was a tasty snack when is the next one coming. Very expensive fish food for Oscar.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

No offence but i thought this was a joke...... there is no way this will work once the oscar gets around 6 inches the betta will have dissapeared and if the oscar is as big as the betta they betta will fight it as it was another betta.

never ever ever...

bettadude sometimes research just goes to show that all the reading can never demonstrate or elucidate the facts learned through experience and listening to other's experience.

i made similar mistakes when i was more of a rookie but dont take the others responses to to offense they are just trying to show you how bad it wont work...

Of course not.
Thats definatly not you with a different username.
Even if not, i still dont want to help someone that:

i decided im going to buy an easy fish to breed like my old mollies and let them breed until my tank is over run with fish, then flush them all down the toilet.

ok mate, this is honestly getting agravating. the gig is up and we know that you made another account.1 you PMed me about and oscar,2 it is QUITE evident that you want livebearers to breed or another "EZ Breeder", and 3 you ask/say ridiculous and ludicrous things.
