Convicts Or Jewel Cichlids?? | |
Badgers034 Hobbyist Posts: 59 Kudos: 23 Votes: 4 Registered: 15-Feb-2006 | I have a 29 gallon tank. I want a solitary mean cichlid. Which would be more likely to eat some dwarf zebra danios (about 1.25 in.) a convict or jewel cichlid?? Which will be bigger?? |

napower05 Hobbyist Posts: 88 Votes: 0 Registered: 05-Oct-2004 | most likely the Jewel cichlids, considering there African and there more nasty then the americans and there colors are A LOT nicer , my personal opinon on the convicts is that they are just your average scrapy cichlid....A lot of my friends have had them and didn't really care for them too much..i've had them and felt the same way. They both can be mean though so its up to you. Good luck with your choice |
