I've got a 38 gallon currently stocked with a keyhole cichlid, 5 platies, 5 black neons and 4 Corydoras arcuatus. I'd like to add another keyhole and maybe some of these Laetacara species. How many could I safely add to my aquarium? I don't see any compatibility issues but I'm not sure about mixing the 2 Laetacaras. |

And they work really well together, my male is a bit agressive towards new midwater fish though, the female is really placid though, they usually swim around together and play around the driftwood. I would try and get a male and a female, the males dorsal and anal fins are pointy and flowing where as the females are more triangular. Also my males keyhole and eye markings are darker than the female. Brilliant fish IMO ![]() ![]() |
