	Feeding.....Besides live or frozen food, What....

I fed one side live and frozen foods (meaty, and the other side a "cichlid grow" pellet. the pellet oscars grew almost 2 times faster than the other 2 oscars. When the experiment was over i took out the divider and it was clear that the pellet oscars were the dominating fish. also both of the non-pellet oscars died within a couple of months. they weren't killed by the other 2. i think that they got some kind of parasite but it worked too fast for me to figure out what it was.

brandeeno Mega Fish Posts: 929 Kudos: 636 Registered: 13-Sep-2007	i feed my oscar hikari pellets and he is doing pretty good, but variation in diet is also very good. if you feed pellets get a few different varieties of high grade foods. also live foods also have their benefit, but also pose more of a threat so i would eliminated then unless you are breeding your own foods. \\\\\\\"an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of the cure\\\\\\\"
