	Finding a mate for my ram
RNJ_Punk Big Fish Cory Fanatic Posts: 395 Kudos: 114 Votes: 137 Registered: 12-Nov-2006	Hello, I have a female blue ram who is getting pink in the tummy and I have been searching for a partner for her. I have searched the LFS around here and none of them had any, not even the one I got my female from. I have looked on aquabid and they sell them only in large groups like 6-10 specimens. I looked on liveaquaria also and azgardens but if I buy from them Im not certain I will get the gender I want. Please help.

From there you can tell the representative to pick out a specific gender. The problem is shipping is quite exspensive. It might be better to get a new tank in your scenario and order enough fish to stock the entire tank at once since shipping runs $20-30 typically. www.mainlycichlids.com is a wonderful site to order from.

Unfortunately neither sites you provided had blue rams, that I could see, I may have skimmed over them, but all I found was bolivian rams. There is one more LFS I can try but if I can find any there, then I may try a LFS specaill ordering them and see if I cant pick out a male. If any one else has anymore links to sites I could try please list them. Thanks again for the link guys, oh and I couldnt find any on ebay either. Thanks

I have family in Lincolton, I was just golfing with them today...just an hour away from me. I am in Charlotte, lots of great LFS here, but they rarely have blue rams. You would most likely have to ship it to me. Just let me know the price of the fish and shipping.

I ve been twice this week. I also go to every anniversary sale. And I went whenever the new one opened. I only went to the old on once. But no rams there either. It is a really great store though.

As of the 31st of July I shut down my internet service until I moved to NC this last weekend. I had to do a premove for about 10 days. If I would have known I could have helped you.
