no, personally i wouldn't because cichilds don't usually eat mammals in the wild, they eat smaller fish, and do the mice your thinking of feeding to your fish have hair on them, if they do, BIG NO-NO

Instead of feeding mice, raise your own feeder guppies, and give those to your flowerhorn. That way, you can be sure that no diseases or parasites get transferred to the flowerhorn, and you won't be constantly buying mice.

teh reason they r called "pinkies" is because they basically have no fur!

with ethics aside, as long as the pinkies aren't a main food source, it should be fine.

Either raise your own or buy the frozen ones..

Usually reptile specialty stores will have frozen mice, and pinkies.

I dont see why it'll be great to feed pinkies though, I'd usually disagree with feeding them what they wont be eating in nature...I.E beef heart, pinkies, etc.

Pinkies do have bones though, so it takes time to digest the pinkie.

I thought pinkies were more for snakes and other reptiles. I wouldn't think they would be a food source for fish.

Fish cant digest animal fat. So i would say no, dont feed them to your fish. If shes been having lots of fry, then feed them back to her. The world will be a better place without them.
