Will they all survive this time without food? especially the fry as i know they need to be fed around 5 times a day... Any suggestions as to what i could do? Thanks ! |

The water changes will give them great water conditions while you are gone. The adult fish can easily go a week or more without food. The fry in the breeding net have me shaking my head. As you mentioned, they are little mouths and stomachs as fry. They would probably be fine for five days... Of course, the big fish may be jostling that breeding net looking for a treat by the time you get home! ![]() __________ "To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research." researched from Steven Wright |

I looked at the auto feeders but they can be quite pricey!! I have my fry safe and sound in 3 nets (one on top of the other and some gravel on the bottom of the nets which have so far kept them safe from hungry mouths! ![]() Thanks again for your reassuring responses! ![]() |
