I really want a GT but i want a male and i was wondering if anyone knows where i can order one offline? i saw some on Aquariumfish.net but i just want to make sure im getting a male. Is there any breeders that you's would recommned?? I kept a lot of cichlids but everytime i got a GT it turned out to be female.

I don't know a breeder unfortunately but hope this helps.

When the male hits adulthood it will grow a prominent nuchal hump on his forehead. If you had an adult pair side by side, the male is usually also 10-15 cm larger
then the female. When they are young it's practically impossible to tell them apart, maybe 'venting' would help.
