Help needed Bolivian Rams | |
hcelizondo Hobbyist Posts: 84 Kudos: 54 Votes: 9 Registered: 20-Oct-2004 | Hi all, I have a 29g. For a year and a half I have kept 1 Bolivian Ram and several black neons (3 remaining)on it. I haven't add more fish due to it's hard for me getting healthy fish down here in Mexico. About 2 weeks ago finally I saw 1 Bolivian ram and it seemed healthy to me so I bought it, after QT I decided to added it to my 29g with the black neons and the other Bolivian ram. I rearranged all the rocks, plants, and decoration to "remove" all the territories the old Bolivian had. At the begining seemed to work ok, but after the forst day the new Bolivian has been hidden in a corner due to harrasment of the old one. The old one it's a male and it's quite big, as I mention it's 1 year and a half old and it's fully grown. The new one is small and at this point I don't know what to do? can someboy give me some advice here? Thanks |

It's worked for me with other semi agresive fish. After they are of nearly equal size they have a better chance of both standing up to each other equally and each establishing their own territory. |
