Lol, then get some healthy blue acaras, youll have the same problem in about 4 months.

Gawd bless small doradids eating fry, Id have had a heart attack without them long ago. My main blue acara pair alone saturated my regional market with 1500 fry last year alone. Prolific isnt the word, no sooner have you cracked breeding them, and youll wish you hadnt. lol. Bit like convict cichlids in that respect. In the end you find yourself getting brutal on wigglers and not letting most of them get past that stage. Just raise a few if someone shows an interest now, the adults produce eggs and fry every 2-4 weeks, and I just whip a few wigglers out and raise em on if people want em, I let 95% of the fry get picked off by night scavengers in darkness when the adults cant guard them effectively.

In fact speak of the devils and they shall appear as they say, they just started spawning as I was posting.

Awesome video

I'd love to see your dorsigs sometime. That's the fish I'm holding out for, still waiting for the breeder to check her e-mail. Crossing my fingers nothings happened to the 6 being saved for me (almost 3 months old) if so I'm going to be extremely disappointed. Once I get them I can rehome the keyholes. I've had it with the male keyhole, who is more like a 'rumphole' to put it politely.

The dorsigera just started spawning last night too, must be something in the air lol, so I cant video em for four days, if I disturb em they easily go EESOB on me, but they tend not to with fry, so all being well a video of dorsigera and wigglers can be done in around 4 days.

The blue acaras decided they were sick of trying to get eggs on one end of that rock, so they eggscavated it,lol, and packed more eggs on. Laying went on for a full hour. Blacks heads in the eggs already, be hatched by tomorrow. Hell of a difference when you have weighty properly mature adults, the eggs just hatch in no time at all. Took a week when the parents were smaller. Always kept em on 79f, pretty much most of their lives.

Congrats yet again !

"they easily go EESOB"
I still remember that term ROFL

Sorry Hokese for the thread sidetrack. Sounds like you need to start culling fry, or buy a piranha to deal with the excess.
