The big tank should be about ready.....will do some tests this weekend. It has have some fish in it for 2-3 weeks now.

yeah it was a good article...and some great pics too,are the madas getting the whole 175g,or are they going to be sharing,if its possibleif so,what are the tankmates guna be..

Not too sure how successful I will be, but they will be sharing with some firemouths and silver dollars.

I had silver dollars with my old 8 foot tank full of american pairs (jack dempseys, texas, fireheads etc) and they did great, no one touched them.

Hopefully it will work out, I might have to move the firemouths to the tank the madas. are in now.

The tank has plenty of rock work, driftwood etc, so it should be easy for the others to hide in need.

See how it goes.

wicked,sounds great,the silvers dollars will be fine,in a good sized tank like that,they have plenty of room to run,good target fish...good luck

Just noticed this thread...lovely pollenis mate.
Saw a few down at the LFS recently but i dont have any freshwater tanks to put them in
