 | My fire mouth is on the bottom |
steven1982  Hobbyist Posts: 104 Kudos: 74 Votes: 38 Registered: 13-Jan-2008   | My fire mouth that I got over a week ago is laying on the bottom of my tank. He almost never moves. He looks fine, he does eat and my water is good. Is this normal for a fire mouth? |

Gourami   Mega Fish Posts: 1205 Kudos: 477 Votes: 1 Registered: 23-Apr-2002  | Are there very many hiding places in your tank? It sounds like he is still uncomfortable in his new home. I would give him some places to hide. Is there other fish in the tank with him? Keeping other fish in the tank with him should get him to be more active. Might want to try some type of dither fish like danios. |
