hi guys i bought a 89 gallon tank i bought 5 convict cichlids and a pair of albino tiger Oscars. I noticed when i brought one them home one of my Oscars had two small lumps on its side. I'm not sure what it is. Even though he has these lumps he still acts like a Oscar should. Is there anything wrong with him?

Cheers

Can you post a picture of the aformentioned lumps or describe the texture of them in detail? Albino fish do get occurrances of cancer more often than normal colour fish.

If it has hexamita already, then yes , takes at leasta couple of weeks for hexamita lesions to show up on the sensory pores, so yes , id take them back.

Well I probably wouldnt, lol, id treat them myself and bitch a lot to the shop, but if youve not tackled hexamita before , you should probably take them back. Its one of the tougher ailments to cure, and if you mixed the oscars with your convicts then..well...oh dear!Acquiring a fish with hexamita and cancer? Thats a tough break. Yeah on reflection, take them back and show your disgust.
