Is 32 deg.Cel. too high for adult N.brichardi?. As i had 2 deaths lately & i think it's because of the heat we're having, but the fry are doing fine & still very active.

Probably way too high, my africans never bred above 80*F and after 82*F I could tell they started getting stressed. IME I believe that American cichlids adjust far better than old world cichlids. drop the temp. The fry might be doing better since they're a new generation and can adapat easier.

6 Adults died in last week's heat wave, but as i said before, the fry are still looking good.

I have a fan going & doing waterchanges with cooler water.
