I love my new Rams. the Bolivian is about an inch long, very shy, but getting along with the other fish.
the Balloon ram is 1/2 inch long, crazy friendly and not affraid of anything, i'm very impressed. the Ballon ram will go to the top of the tank and swim all over the place, the Bolivian stays mostly at the bottom and mid way up the tank...
i did notice that the colours aren't the same of the fish as they were in the fish store, will this go away and they're colours will show eventually?

From my experience with my fish tanks, some fish loss some of there colors when more from one environment to the other. Normally it has come back as the fish gets acclimated in it's new home.

Yup , there are indeed balloon rams, personally I dont think they are an improvement over the rather graceful standard form, but some people arent happy until they have a fish that looks like someone stuck a straw up its backside and blew. Kinda makes them look like they have dropsy, and TBH im sure a lot of them end up that way.

I suppose now you can add organ compression to the list of things that rams die of.

Heres a piccy. Gah, fishbreeders.

Not to my taste im afraid.
