![]() | Questions On Adding An Angel |

One of my daughter's had inherited my fish-keeping addiction and in addition to my 29g (photos) she is taking over the 30g. She decided she wants to add an angel to the tank, and we have a number of age and color options available to us from a local breeder. One angel is just over a year old; would introducing a fish that age to a community tank cause problems? There are others quarter and half-dollar sized. Are angels that age/size generally hardy? And finally, will there be problems with an angel and the gourami? Thanks ![]() ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

Snakeskins are usually very docile. Nickel sized angels are a good size to get. I wouldnt always go with a larger and older angel for a community tank. Those angels would probably be best in a larger S.A cichlid tank or for breeding tanks. 2-4 small sized angelfish would be ok for the 29. If they are comming from a breeder, generally they should be hardy. from my experience i know where your comming from as when i use to buy really small angels they would come in sick, but in your case they should be fine. |

I would add a small sized Angel, as you already have the Rummynose Tetras & you don't them to be eaten. http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
