hey everyone,i have 2 green severums and some asorted tetras in a custom 2 footer, its alot higher and wider than a standard 2,anyway i had the female severum first and she tryed hooking up and laying eggs

with a male salvin

so i whipped him out so they couldnt cross, well my female severum kept on pumping out the batches of eggs

but as there was no male so nothing happened

(of course)so i picked up a male severum

but he was a bit smaller than her so she could remain in charge

when i added him she gave him a few pecks and all went well, she kept on laying eggs

,but she would go super green in colour and turn nasty

and not let him anywhere near the eggs to fertilize them, well that went on for a while and he just stays out of her way when she has eggs

.ok now in the mean time he has overtaken her in size, due to his greedy appitite

and in the last 2 days he has herrased her to the point where she would not come out from behind this treestump ornement in there,he just wont stop

,is he trying to get her to lay again so he can do his thing

.i have a divider in there now,she seems ok today and her colour is back and she has eaten

, he is not herassing the tetras they dont exist to him,and he still sometimes trys to get her throo the divider.does anyone know why this is happening

is he telling me its time to move him into one of my larger tanks,i know this tank is small for them but they did seem happy untill a couple of days ago

ive checked all my water parameters, and they are all fine, everything is normall i cant see what the problem is
ps,these are not the severums i have that are minding the convict fry they are in another tank, the above severums are actully my daughters fish
