hey guys, ive finally got my my female flowerhorn to drop a batch of eggs, she is laying as i write this, well ive got the male in the same tank with a divider seperating them, and a hole cut in the divider, with my cleaning magnet across the hole, well i just tryed to move the magnet and let him throo, but i think it was too soon,as she did her best to usher him back throo the hole(she cant fit throo, she is a fair big larger than him)i done the hole like this on purpose as she is bigger and more nasty than him,so when should i move the magnet,to let him throo, and how long will it take him,to fertilize the eggs,oh he is also ready as hes little thingy(forgot the name)is poking out and ready to go,can someone answer this for me,cheeers darryl

If she had laid the eggs already and the male was able to go on her side while doing so, they are probably already fertilized (unless they turned white). Fertilization is required while the eggs are being laid or very soon after, if the male did not have access to the eggs then they are probably infertile.
