HOKESE Mega Fish Posts: 1105 Kudos: 478 Votes: 271 Registered: 22-Feb-2003	hi guys (again).i was just reading the profile on the salvini(cichlasoma salvini)as i just bought one 2 days ago,and i wanted to know,what does a geographical aquarium mean,and why does it do better in one of these tanks.for the mean time,the one i have (is still small,just under 2 inches)its in my daughters tank with a green severum and a bunch of tetras,and a upsidedown catfish, with live plants,a uv light and top filtartion and so far it is doing great,as soon as its bigger it can go into my larger cichlid community tank.can anyone see anything wrong with this plan.thanx guys.

inkodinkomalinko Fish Guru Posts: 2441 Kudos: 833 Registered: 18-Jan-2003	Well I've never heard of "geographic aquarium", but I'm almost 100% sure it means an biotope aquarium, meaning fish coming from that fishes natural habitat, IG not fish from lake malawi or such.
