does anyone no about these little fellas. Iwould like as much info as posible.
the LFS gets them in by order. they breed them in fresh water so im planning on putting them in an asian comunity.

the fish
3 pearl gouramis
2 reticulated loaches
20 harlequins
6 zebra danios
3-4 orange chromides

These guys go best with at least some salt in their water. And it is a rarety if they breed in fresh water. Though it is happening more often these days. Usually they will live in fresh water, but not as long as they will in brackish. And they will almost certainly breed in brackish for you.

As for the fish, they are moderately aggressive, and will usually accept most all types of foods, even prepared foods.

I've kept them before, but in a brackish tank, where they thrived with smaller puffers, a couple species of freshwater moray, mollies, and glassfish. They might pick on your gouramis a bit, and they'd really do better with some marine salt in the water that the other fish wouldn't really tolerate. I'd recommend them for any brackish tank, as they're small, hardy, and colorful, but I'd recommend against them for a purely freshwater community tank.

i've decided against them coz id rather a fresh water tank without them rather than a brackish tank with the and without the othe fish id like to have
