most eggs usually hatch in 3-5 days. I'd keep a very close eye on the sevs and the other fish. usually cichlids become much more territorial once they've spawned and the sevs might start acting more aggressive towards the other fish in the tank. good luck with them.

I've had a pair of severums for a few years. Eggs have been noticed many times ( maybe 6- 8 times) at two diferent locations within the 77 gallon tank, however...no luck. The tank is shared with only one angelfish. Water is naturally alkaline (7.5). Any suggestions?
