I don't know if it's the same thing as what you gotta use for aquariums though? I think it was a few bucks for a brick that made up a 10L bucket full? ^_^ |

Jiffy Pots and Jiffy Pellets are available from garden ships, Big W and Kmart. If it is for killifish, please be sure you boil it, and check with the killifish people about the code on the Jiffy pellets as apparently some have fertilisers that are fine for the fish but cause a non-hatch in the eggs. If it is for land hermits or growing earthworms or other food cultures, you can use the coco-peat bricks. They aren't so good for killies though, and apparently they can be salty. |
