newbie  Fingerling Posts: 35 Kudos: 16 Votes: 1 Registered: 08-Apr-2004   | Hello everyone My sister loves the color yellow.  She also loves bettas. She would love to compine the two. Sadly we have never seen a yellow betta we live in new jersey and was wondering if anyone(living in new jersey)has seen yellow bettas, also if they even exist. Any information would be much obliged |

We LOVE your bettas they are very beautiful. did you get yours shipped to you or did you find them at your lfs? I went on aquabid.com a while ago but they were all bettas that had to be shipped from like indonesia and it was to expensive for the shipping and handling |

bettachris   Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004  | finding a clean yellow is very hard. most will be dirty. i am close by you, i can sell you some.  if you live by atlantic city or near sea side hights.(my two hot spots for bettas) if you are atlantic city, take that mayjor high way to the male, and get out, make a left and there is a petsmart. probably the #1 petstore i have been to down there. they usually have yellows and females. last time i got a pair of clean yellows. if you go to sea side hights, you can win bettas there.(the gold fish game with bettas) |

i had my hands on 1 before, my friend has one, and i also passed one up, so i have come into contact with 4 so far, in like a year, so, not too rare
