	Baby Yabbies
crusha Enthusiast Fish Geek Posts: 262 Kudos: 183 Votes: 102 Registered: 11-Nov-2005	I'm so excited, we managed to get some freshwater yabbies and put them into our koi pond. During our clean-up on the weekend we found that they'd had babies, they are about 3cm long and sooooo cute!!! (well as cute as a yabby can be) Never expected them to survive let alone breed, my husband works for a frozen food company and they actually sell them alive to restaurants so he snaffled a few for the pond. Isn't that wonderful. Those who say they cant, Never will !!!

Or are they too big for them ? And are we going to get any pics . ^_^

They are very well behaved with the koi, and the koi dont bother them at all, the pond is large enough for them both. I tried to take a picture but it wasn't very clear. I dont think i'll be able to find them again to get another one. I'll try and auto correct the ones I have and see if that makes them a bit clearer. Those who say they cant, Never will !!!

That's really cool that they're well behaved together, I like having more than one thing in an environment, makes it that much more interesting and natural. And no I was just kidding on the eating them idea . ^_^
