A lot depends on what temp you consider coldwater. There are quite a few tropicals that can do well at what are considered lower temps. If you're interested in specific fish I'd suggest doing research into what temp range is acceptable for each species you'd like to keep.

Hi-finned banded shark
One of my lfs has what they call a cold water algae eater. It looks like a big black cae.

There are also all of the native species!

Don't forget White Cloud Mountain Minnows!

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

I don't know if this counts, but when I was a really little kid my parents bought me a betta for an unheated 1 gallon bowl and it was quite happy, though I'm not sure how warm it was in my bathroom.

Bettas dont' really count as a cold water fish. While yes I have had them survive in temps of ...oh....say 52f or so their body metabolism slows down to the point where their food is no longer digested and they start pineconeing...that's generally a good time to rescue them from your older sister ...sooner would have been better of course....

Rosy barbs could possibly be added to the list. Mine have been in my pond, temp is around 55F. They've remained their normal active selves all winter. Although that really should be considered "cool" rather than "cold" which to me means the fish can go rather close to freezing.
