I am planning on digging a pond soon, nothing to big probely 50-100 gallons I dont really know yet. But I was wodering what I could put in it? I was hopong to put a fish in other then your commmon ones, well really I was hoping for a predatory fish, so what could I get? But if all fails could I put some lion heads in it?

i have a 76 gallon and i have live bearing fish guppies and swordies, i am getting cories and pictus cats later in my 50 gallon

Are you talking about ponds or tanks? I f you are talking ponds where do ya live to have those fish in a pond? Also I was hoping if anyone knew of anywhere I could get sticklebacks?

For something different consider local native species. If you are debating between 50 and 100 gallons, go for the 100. I think most pond enthusiasts would agree that no matter how big you make the pond it is never big enough.

its in a pond, i live in newyork and i have to keep a cover over it to try and shade it a little but the algea took over and the normal average temp is between 70-80 and in my 50 that just got more sand and was cleaned i am going to put the corys and pictus for like 2 weeks and they will come in durring the winter after my 10 gallon is empty*yea like that will ever happen

Your flag says Canada. Your pond is not deep enough to over-winter any fish. So anything you buy will have to be able to come inside for winter. Are you setup for that?
