I know goldfish can grow but only up to 1foot so i would say that photo is tampered with or it is not realy a goldfish

I've been looking this up, trying to find more pictures. This one is supposed to weigh something like 9 pounds. I know that a IGFA recognized world record goldfish was caught out of Lake Hodges here in San Diego. I'll post more information as I find it

That's a long-finned tench (Tinca tinca), not a goldfish. Tench grow up to 25" long.

The shape of the fish looks nothing like a goldfish. I've seen many very large goldfish, and that is definitely not one.

I won't believe it is until there is genetic proof.

Freakin' photoshopped. Eye size is far too large for a fish of that size.
