Posts: 2623 Kudos: 2462 Votes: 337 Registered: 29-Mar-2003   | OK I've had goldfish for a long time, and have actually been lucky enough to have them drop/deposit eggs a few times, but it has been a long time...now I have a new set of goldies in my classroom...the female spends most of the time chasing the male and nosing his rear...is she playing, is she trying to make, how old do they have to be? I just tell the kids they are playing chase...So I tank you in advance, and so do Romeo and Juliet, formerly known as the babies.... I would be interested to see if anything comes of your Romeo & Juliet...they have suitably amorous names so you never know. BTW that you tell the kids they are playing chasings is PRICELESS! Makes me smile. Thumbs up to teachers and the great job they do! ~~~ My fish blow kisses at me all day long ~~~ |
