I heard that it is best if you give yourself an extra 2 feet on the lenght and width, is this true? Also how much fish could I put in there, I think the pond is goin to be 8'x 4'x 4'? I was thinking of stocking it with shubunkins, and maybe some comets, also some people I know have kept fancies in their pond so I might try putting one or two in there. |

At just under 1000 gallons and with 4 feet of depth you have a lot of choices. I just honestly do not think fancies are going to work in Canada. They might survive some of the milder winters but certainly not all of them. Empty chairs at empty tables, the room silent, forlorn. |
